To mark the 110th anniversary of Aimé Césaire’s birth and the fortieth anniversary of his last collection, moi, laminaire…, the Fondation Clément presents a group exhibition featuring a dialogue between Césaire’s poetry and the work of three contemporary photographers, Juliette Agnel, Nicolas Derné and Xuebing Du.

These productions bear witness to 30 years of creative expression in a blend of traditional and contemporary techniques, universal, local and current themes, and forms, compositions and colors that I hope will be singular.

From May 12 to September 17, 2023, the Fondation Clément presents the exhibition Gaston Monnerville, une dignité républicaine. The first historical exhibition produced by the Fondation Clément, it is based on research work that sheds light on the exceptional career of a “great forgotten man of the Republic”.
