Practical information

The Clément Foundation is hosting 3 exhibitions on the fusion of the arts.

Exposition Mosaïque – la Cuverie

Artists : Artof Popof, Claude Cauquil, DaCruz, James Reno, Mickaël Caruge, Nux Xän, Speedy Graphito, Thomas Canto, YZ

The original works created during artists’ residencies are exhibited at La Cuverie. Expect Aztec figures by Da Cruz, monsters by Nux Xän, colourful portraits by Cauquil and even more colourful characters by Speedy Graphito; collages, stencils, installations, spray paint, acrylic, Posca, pencils and more…

Artists will have blended all the techniques available to them to create a coherent group exhibition combining origins, colours and a motley array of styles.

MIXART à l’école – la Case à Lucie

La Case à Lucie is hosting the exhibition of 400 of the finest works by Martiniquan students made in-class for Operation “MIX’ART à l’école”. Students have produced their drawings according to precise specifications, including a set theme, size and accompanying text. Classes were visited by artists from the street art scene, who guided them in creating their artworks.

From the mixed perspective of comic books or street art, the finest work – watercolours, pastels, felts, collages – selected by the students themselves, will form the heart of this exhibition.

MIXART, l’art Liberté – la Case à Léo

La Case à Léo is hosting the exhibition of original works from the album “MIX’ART, l’art Liberté”. Launched in June 2009 in the Nave of the Grand Palais, the exhibition brought together 50 internationally-renowned street and comic book artists, who illustrated their vision of the wealth of cultural diversity. Philippe Druillet, Jef Aérosol, Rodrigue, Speedy Graphito, Margerin and more created a brand-new work specially for the occasion, revealing their view of this highly important societal theme.

Visits take place following the letters of this diversity dictionary: a letter of the alphabet evokes an aspect of diversity (D for Dialogue, E for Equal Opportunities, S for Solidarity), while a comic strip and piece of graffiti interact in the form of mixed perspectives.
